National Library of Australia
The Library attempts to acquire all printed music published in Australia and also music published overseas by Australian composers. All genres of music are acquired, from western art ("classical") to popular and folk music. Composers whose works are held range from Isaac Nathan, the Sydney composer who lived from 1790 to 1864, to contemporary composers such as Peter Sculthorpe. Also J.C. Williamson set of perforing materials relating to operas, operettas, musical comedies, revues and pantomimes.

North Queensland Opera and Theatre Group Inc. and the Company Singers
SATB scores including some of well known oratorios; single sheets covering a wide cross section of styles Items are available for inter-library loan

Rockdale City Library
Popular music - pop, jazz, blues, country, musicals, operas, some classical. Mostly for voice and piano or piano only. The songs are indexed separately in the catalogue, so we are able to find a particular song in a combined volume. Some guitar tablature. Large collection of miniature scores. The sheet music is mostly acquired by donation so we have a large collection of popular music from earlier in the century.
