Australian Broadcasting Corporation Document Archives (ABC)
Photographs (mainly publicity) of ABC staff and performers or ensembles employed by or touring for the ABC: eg. orchestras, singers, instrumentalists, rock musicians, composers. Copyright restrictions may apply to use.

Australian War Memorial (Research Centre)
Almost one million images associated with armed conflict are held in the Photograph Collection, starting with the Sudan and continuing up to the Gulf War and modern peacekeeping operations. The collection is fortunate to have rare colour images from the First World War.Over 185,000 records from the core collection are available on the online photograph database which is available through the Memorial's web page and at the Research Centre.The Memorial also houses an extensive collection of Australian art that originated in the official war art schemes. These works illustrate the enduring impact of war on Australian society and are displayed throughout the Memorial. The holdings number some 30,000 works of art.Works of art from the Memorial's collection are on displaythroughout the galleries. Touring exhibitions and loans to regional galleries are developed to commemorate significant events. Public access for research is available in the Research Centre and on the online art database located on the Memroial's web site. Access to works of art not on display is available by appointment only with the Art Section.

State Library of Victoria
The State Library of Victoria's Picture Collection forms a comprehensive visual record of the state and its people. The 650,000 images in the Collection constitute the oldest visual historical collection in Australia illustrating the development of Victoria from the 1850s to the 1990s. Also included, incidentally, are some interstate and overseas views.

Strehlow Research Centre
